observations and facts

There are 16 pairs of undies on the line. Amongst other things of course.

And 17 pairs of socks. None of which belong to my wearing-socks-everyday husband.

I am not sure I want to reflect or think deeply about what this sock situation might mean, given that there is quite a tidy basket full of socks that nobody apparently wants to wear, sitting around somewhere.

Am also reflecting on attitude of oldest daughter who may not reach even reach the age of NINE nor get the chance to be taller than her mother, lest she loose the bordering-on-insolent (if she knew what that word meant) with-some-other-little-undesirable-bits sneaking in here and there attitude she has going on.

I don't think I posses the calm and reasoning sort of nature that apparently one needs. And we are four long years away from teenage-hood.

Boarding school may be looking really good by that stage.

{I am only joking} {but sort of not really}.

  4. I loved this post!! I have an almost one year old daughter after having three boys. They have been pretty easy to raise so far. I can already see the difference in a daughter even before she's one!!! I, too, do not do well with attitudes ~ especially female ones. I think this is why I always had more male friends than female ones. It's going to be a bumpy ride!!!! : )

  5. Sharon, grab the chocolate bar, that will fix so many things (or if wine is your preference) sometimes you just got to do what you got to do to get through!!!
